Michelle and I spent Patriot’s Day 2017—it’s a Massachusetts thing—traveling to Providence, Rhode Island and Hartford, Connecticut to visit the state capitols there. I’m excited to present the Rhode Island photos, especially those of the rotunda! The rotunda photos are both HDR, and do a wonderful job of showing the details of the murals and architectural components.
Additionally, I really like the state library. As with many of my trips, I used my special trick to gain access to areas sometimes off-limits: I asked! The real trick is to wait for the kids (who might also want to go up) to go away. Thus we have a few wide angle shots of the library and close-ups of some of the house documents.
Be on the lookout for more posts for Connecticut and New Jersey!
