The fireworks came early for us here in Boston due to rain from hurricane Arthur. Unfortunately I was a bit late arriving to the show and without my tripod. Fortunately I was still able to get a few great shots by resting the camera on my backpack. Most of the shots below were exposed anywhere between 8 and 15 seconds and f/7.1 to f/14. Since my ND filter does not fit my 24-70 II, I opted instead for ISO 50.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with the results. Next year I hopefully won’t be delayed, and can get a higher vantage point.
