I visited the USS John F. Kennedy on Saturday. “Big John,” as its called, is one of the last non-nuclear aircraft carriers to be decommissioned. It sailed into Boston as part of its farewell tour. I knew aircraft carriers were big, but I never knew how big. Big John can house over 75 aircraft and 5000 sailors and airmen! I’ll let the pictures do the talking. You can view the album here. I also have a few videos. They are mostly from the large aircraft elevators.

Finally an update on me: I hate MIT! I no longer sleep before 3 AM, even on weekends. This is by far the worst semester ever! I have assignments due everyday except Thursday. Spring break is 3 weeks away; I don’t return to Dallas until mid-April. There is just no end in sight. This is depressing.
