Last month I had the pleasure of working once again with Felicia Sun as we continued our collaboration on pole dance photography. When we initially discussed doing a shoot late last year, we envisioned shooting on a rooftop/deck with either the Boston or Cambridge skyline as a backdrop. This was rather difficult for two reasons: (1) we didn’t know anyone with a rooftop deck, and (2) it was cold! Thus our first shoot was conducted indoors.
However, now that winter is finally over, we took advantage of the Cambridge Center Roof Garden in Kendall Square. We lucked out and had the space mostly to ourselves. (I even had time to do a second shoot with Lilly.)
Felicia was a trooper, working with an unexpectedly spinning pole, dealing with a couple cuts and bruises, and cooperating with a photographer pushing her to hold painful poses. The results speak for themselves.
